Yoga Sequences

Clayton Yoga Teacher Training will show you how to safely and effectively challenge all level students whether teaching to a small class of 4 or teaching to larger audiences.   This yoga teacher training prepares you to teach all levels yoga class in any setting: whether a gym, yoga studio, university, or corporation. Look through your 50 Accessible Yoga Postures handout in the Yoga Teacher Training Manual. Also review the sequences below for added resource and help.

The general correct order of Yoga Sequence is to begin with warm up, then standing postures, hip openers, balancing, backbend, forward bend and inversion. Keep in mind that you can mix and match and there is no exact science to this. Have fun and remember to always instruct students to breathe.

Also, provide plenty of modifications for advanced postures and offer lots of encouragement. The first ten minutes of class is  most important as this is the focus on breathing and mindfulness allows each student to listen to their own unique body and find their own edge.

Remember, to provide students with inspiring verbal adjustments, gentle refreshing, new sequences, and simple, direct, easy to follow instruction.
